I don't know about you but I hate smearing goo all over myself to avoid overexposure to the sun and biting insects. The buff takes care of the last exposed areas I have when battling the elements. I've long been a user of the Insect Shield clothing formerly know as Buzz Off. The issue was my face and neck remain unprotected. This is no longer true thanks to my new buff. The Buff held back the harmful rays of the sun and also kept at bay the nasty mosquitoes and black flies that Maine's back woods has in surplus. I now don't have to worry about ruining my fly line due to handling line melting chemical solvents found in effective insect repellents. I highly recommend getting the Buff with insect shield. Be careful though. My spouse wanted to use mine for gardening before I even got a chance to use it on my Maine fishing trip. Make sure you get an extra one to avoid it becoming a garden tool.
