    RIOMax Plus is an incredibly tough, medium stiff tippet material that is the most abrasion resistant tippet out there. It is perfect for fishing streamers for trout, salmon, steelhead, bass and for saltwater species such as bonefish and striped bass. A slick coating makes it very easy to knot.

    I bought spools of this tippet in 10, 12, 16, and 20 lb. test. It is perfect for throwing big flies in heavy cover. Highly abbraision resistant with good knot strength. It is a perfect match with the Rio bass leader.
