The Sharkskin Ultimate Trout line has excellent controllability and is a very efficient line for a variety of fishing situations, both for short and medium distances, but even with longer casts, this line presents delicately enough to make fish bite the moment the fly hits the water. This version is good for traditional to medium/fast action rods, but for fast action it can seem a little too light and that is where one should consider the GPX version instead :)
