One of the original Cliff Outdoors products, and still one of the favorites, the Strait-N-Dry is an incredibly handy little tool. The outside is made of high-quality, weather-resistant leather. The inside is where the action takes place.
The Strait-N-Dry has two work areas - the "gripper zone" to handle all leader memory problems, and the "dry zone" that serves several valuable purposes. Use the "dry zone" to clean and suck the water out of soggy flies (especially good for CDC patterns). It also does an excellent job of extending the life of your expensive fly lines. At the end of a day's worth of angling, simply reel your line up between the drying pads. You'll be surprised how much "scum" will come off and you will store your fly line dry.
Try one and you'll find it to be a sweet, extremely practical little tool.
