these clippers way close to nothing. If you hang them on a clip to your vest or anything else, you will hardly know they are there, until you need to cut something then they will cut almost anything. I tried cutting mono with it and paper, belive it or not, and it sliced the paper like a razor. It also cut braided line cleanly, although i did have to press down hard on the cutters,but regular nail clippers cant cut braided line. overall very good clippers and like I said, what you will love most about them is their weight and small size.
