The belt provides excellent support and allows me to attach my water bottle holder and wading staff easily. I tried the Simms belt (which also had great support), but the buckle was too wide for my wadding staff holster.

Leave it to Fishpond to take a mundane item and "kick it up a notch". The necessity of a wading belt is pretty well established, they are lifesavers. They can also help prolong the life of one's waders by removing some of the fabric slack that can lead to abrasion of the wader. But Fishpond has taken these benefits and added back support, equipment lashes, and D-rings. Secure, easily adjustable, comfortable, and useful. This belt is in a category of its own. Nice job guys.

Fishpond never ceases to amaze me with their ingenuity and penchant for great looking designs. The reflective material—who would've thought of that. The ingenious way there is a second belt threaded through the larger belt that comes unsnapped makes threading on attachments (water bottle holder, multitool wallet, etc)...is well, ingenious. The width of the belt helps support the back as does the high-grade padding. I would swap out the plastic hooks that hold the excess belt. I would replace it with elastic loops.I would also offer it in a size that accommodates waists smaller than 32".
