    THE travel bag, 12.12.2012

This is THE travel bag to have. Mine has been stuffed for 14 day trips and withstands the abuse from the airlines. The bag is incredibly well thought out and designed. As the other reviewer mentioned it is loaded with features. Fishpond stands behind their products and Fishwest is top notch.

    An under-hyped bag that's amazing, 2.11.2010

First, I'd like to mention a couple of very positive features of this bag that Fishpond doesn't draw attention to. The pockets you see in the photos are not just flap closures; beneath the flaps are zippered pouches. Those pocket flaps work as both protectors over the pouch zippers, and as rod tube holders. In addition, the pocket on the reverse side that one does not see in the marketing photos is a full length zippered pocket. Very well made bag with nice little touches, like the nonslip material on the contact side of the shoulder strap, the padded changing mat, and the bracing for the anvil-style opening.
Second, I'd like to say thanks to the Fishwest staff, for getting this to me in time for my trip. A special bag, sold by a special dealer.
