5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Superb Rod For All River Situations: 10' 3WT, 7.6.2013
Reviewer: Douglas R. (FPO AE, NY)

I quickly became a Hardy Fan after purchasing this rod. A dream to cast. Versatile & highly responsive, light weight. Easy on the hand & wrist after a full day on the river. It handles superbly for both nymph & dry fly fishing. Thinking about buying another shorter one for small stream use. Doesn't come apart after casting long periods. Difficult to think about using another, now.

Okay I spent a lot of money on these rods hoping to get what I have gotten out of the 13 sage rods I already have. The test was taking them to Wyoming to the Snake river and to Yellowstone N. P. to the Madison, Firehole, and 3 other streams for a week of trout fishing. What I realized at the end of my stay, was that I never even thought about my rods or my casting, (other than the fact of where it was going). These Rods are so smooth and easy to handle for short shots or having to get across the river, I never had to fight the rod to get the fly there. These Rods are the best Rods I have ever handled. So I bought a 11wt rod for my tarpon fishing now and I will tell you how that works out.
