Waterworks Lamson Freshwater Ketchum Release Tool

Fish mortality can be reduced by landing the fish quickly and by avoiding netting and handling. This technique will preserve protective coatings and eliminate air exposure. The Ketchum Release® tool makes this low-mortality release easy.  Just slip your leader through the slot, slide the tool down to the bend in the hook, push back and the hook slips harmlessly out.

Three great sizes available:

1. Midge - for hook sizes 18-28, for flies you might not be able to get your forceps on anyway
2. Original - for hook sizes 10-16, for hooks as small as #18 and flies as large as medium-bodied streamers
3. Big Bug - for hook sizes 2-8, for streamers, hoppers and other large flies
