5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Great Fly Fishing Hat, 5.10.2012
    Reviewer: Mark G. (Pleasanton, CA)

Like all of my fishing gear, I looked around a long time to find the best fit for my needs. I wanted a long-bill cap to keep the sun out of my face, but something lightweight that would let the heat escape from my head on those hot summer days when I have to hike 5-6 miles. It's not waterproof, but I would use a different set of criteria if that was important. I also like flat colors that blend in with the background when I'm wading. This Patagonia has all the right boxes checked . There is a little adjustment in the size, but I bought one last year in a large and it wouldn't go tight enough to stay on my head in high winds. The medium is just right for my 7 and 1/4 size head. I'm done looking for a fishing hat now.
