    I purchased this line hoping to quicken my presentations to spooky seatrout by loading the rod sooner. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed in its performance. I didn't notice any difference in the ability to load the rod quickly and it was terrible at casting distances over 40 ft. It wasn't any better than my longer tapered lines even at shorter distances. While the concept of a shorter and heavier front taper sounds like it would work, it didn't at all for me and certainly wasn't a good line for the Sage Xi2 I was throwing it on.
