As a predominanty light line dry fly man with about 40yrs experience fishing English chalk-streams, moving to fishing huge lakes and fast heavy rivers in NZ, was quite a challenge, I struggled with sinking line fishing, likening it to chucking a lump of lead and dragging it through the murky unknown - then i discovered this line - at a budget cost, but boy what a choice! - I have never cast a full 100ft with a heavy fly with such control, accuracy and finesse, the type 6 is down to depth and straight into contact with my lure in seconds, takinf fish on the drop is a doddle, my bite to hook up rate is brilliant, every bite no matter how slight is felt clearly, it is now on its 3rd season in some demanding UV, and abrasive bed environments with no degradation - you must give this a try - wet cell i remember from my youth, and with my experience the best recommendation i can make to you is forgo all the hyped modern like slaes gimmicks, and go for something that is tried tested and has quality - this is definitely what you need for deep-water and fast rivers- thanks Fishwest I have also left feedback with your live help, which really do you credit!
