Scientific Anglers has nailed it perfectly. Air tight, waterproof, floating, extremely durable, see through lids, what more can anyone ask for in their fly box. Wind? No problem, the foam in these boxes holds all your flies and nymphs firmly in place while the lid is opened.
I can get about 270 flies in two boxes that fit in shirt pockets, and avoid fumbling through a boat bag. Throw a lanyard around your neck, grab your favorite rod and head to the stream for a day of fishing without a chest pack.
Well worth the money to organize and simplify your fishing.

All manufacturers are coming out with waterproof fly boxes. SA did a great job with theirs. Color coding them helps with quick identification. The see-thru lid is VERY helpful when finding flies and the knurled outside shows they were thinking. I do think the slit foam is a great idea, but I'm finding that the hooks of the flies (just a few mind you) get a LITTLE stuck in the slit foamed. No damage occurs to the flies, the slits/foam get a little misshapped. I hope that in the summer month this will not be a bigger problem since I think it's the glue that holds the foam to the plastic divider causing the sticking. Some have complained that these are hard to open. My guess is that they are not opening it right. I open them with my left hand. Do not attempt to lift/open to the other side while the lid is open—that DOES make it hard. Instead, close it FIRST, then flip it top over bottom so that the opening latch is still on the right side (you'll notice this flips your flies right side up). Doing it this way, makes opening a snap—and faster! The box is a little heavy, I suspect from the thickness of plastic and the rubber seal—but that's a little price to pay for protection. I currently own 5 and suspect that I'll have 7-9 in Small, Medium and Large sizes to cover Trout and Bass.
