    I was looking for a jacket that when the weather is wet I could use to stay dry and also to hold everything I need so I can leave my vest behind. I recently bought the Simms Guide Jacket because it has a minimalist design, it's made from quality Gore-Tex and it's reasonably priced in the Simms range. I just got back from a weeks trip and luckily it rained the first few days of the trip. The jacket was great. It kept me dry, it kept the wind out and it was comfortable. Everything was easy to access as well. It ticked all the boxes. I like it so much that even when the sun came out (still cold) I used the jacket for the hole trip, the vest was never used.
