    These boots are outstanding. I have worn these boots out into the stream multiple times now, and I must say that I have no complaints whatsoever about their performance. I would like to mention that the eyelets on the boot are plastic. I had noticed in reviews on Simms' site that some customers (not all) were having a problem with the eyelets breaking. These people were usually fishing somewhere much more brutal than the streams here in PA. To sum it up, these boots are great for anybody who fishes casually and wants a quality, dependable boot.

    This is the first fishing boot I have worn but I am extremely impressed with the quality, fit, comfort, etc. They also worked great to hike in 1.5 miles on trails, slopping through mud and such. I ordered them size 11 and normally wear around 9.5. I wore one layer polypropylene liner, one layer very heavy Smartwool Mountaineer, and one lighter weight Smartwool Hiking. COmbining these layers and the waders allowed me to be comfortable standing in early summer SE Alaskan streams for hours before feeling a chilled foot. I might not know any better but I am totally pleased with the product.
