    I had serious problems wading certain very slippery sections of the trout creek closest to where I live, to the point where I once totally submerged with waders and all. After I put these on my Simms vibram boots I have no such issues any more. HIghly recommended if you wade slippery streams.

    All of the rivers and streams I fish are high gradient and full of various size rocks, which make wading extremely difficult. I've been using these studs in both felt and Vibram soles since they became available. If placed according to Simm's placement scheme they do a very good job of minimizing slippage. I would recommend them to any one who wades in difficult conditions. One thing you do need to do however, is to check to make sure they are still tight after each trip.
