Fine product, except for missing a net loop., 8.2.2012

The 1st thing that I noticed, even before using it, is that it does not have a "D-loop" to hang a net in the back of it, like the vests of every model as standard equipment. Since seeing this flaw, I looked a other reviews of chest packs, and there are people complaining of the same issue. I do believe that this is a serious design flaw, and have see one model that does have the net loop (Orvis). However, this model is superior in all the other regards. It is comfortable, easily opens, I don't have a problem seeing my feet (as some complain), and the pack does hold just the right amount of gear for the "day's fishing mission", helping me to concentrate on what I really need! - and not all of the other stuff. I still don't have enough time on the water to give it a complete review. But, I do like that I can wade deeper, or kneel and crawl in the water to sneak-up on stealthy trout. I plan to write more later, and to contact Simms about the net loop, because I respect their products above all others.
